Why, Santa?! Why?!It has twice the hard drive space of my current laptop, and the master plan was to use this new little laptop for big projects like videos and flashes and photoshops (stuff that usually drains my processing speed). Being new and having only what I need to do what I want on it, it won't be fighting for space. (Current laptop holds not only big project files, but everyday stuff like classwork, music for listening to, etc).
No problem... One problem...
It has no CD Drive. No problem.
One problem: It makes it kinda hard to install stuff. I'll just copy all files from one compy to the other. No problem.
One problem: It doesn't work. Kinda. The Flash maker works. The Photoshop loads, but then it tells me, "Your Adobe Photoshop Elements user name, organization, or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit." Grr...
And Premiere says, "You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe customer support for help."
No problem. Two problems: 1)The Photoshop is originally registered on another computer, so trying to get Adobe to help me isn't working because it's pretty much the wrong account, and 2) The Premiere, while not registered on a different computer, I can't find the danged old box that came with it, meaning I have no serial number, meaning they're not gonna help me...
Sssooo... Now what? Now I take a break and try later. Maybe my techie of a brother can help me patch the CD Drive from the desktop to my laptop... "Smart Brother! You're so DAMN smart! You mind tellin' me what the hell just happened?!?!"
